Bag filter is a dry dust filtering device. After using the filter material for a period of time, due to screening, collision, retention, diffusion, static electricity and other effects, a layer of dust accumulates on the surface of the filter bag, which is called the initial layer. During the subsequent movement process, the initial layer becomes the main filtering layer of the filter material. With the help of the initial layer, filter materials with larger mesh holes can also achieve higher filtration efficiency. As dust accumulates on the surface of the filter material, the efficiency and resistance of the dust collector increase accordingly. When the pressure difference between the two sides of the filter material is large, some small dust particles that have already adhered to the filter material will be squeezed out, causing a decrease in the efficiency of the dust collector. In addition, excessive resistance of the dust collector can significantly reduce the airflow of the dust removal system. Therefore, after the resistance of the dust collector reaches a certain value, it is necessary to clean the dust in a timely manner. When cleaning, the initial layer should not be damaged to avoid a decrease in efficiency.

The structure of a bag filter mainly consists of an upper box, a middle box, a lower box (ash hopper), a cleaning system, and an ash discharge mechanism.

Key points for daily maintenance of bag filter

1. The management personnel operating the pulse bag filter should be familiar with the principle, performance, and usage conditions of the filter, and master the adjustment and maintenance methods. Fully grasp the performance and structure of the dust collector, promptly address any issues, and ensure the normal operation of the dust removal system. The on duty personnel shall record the operation status and relevant data of the shift.
2. The mechanical moving parts such as the ash conveying device on the pulse bag filter should be oiled and changed according to regulations. Any abnormal phenomena should be promptly eliminated. Regularly lubricate the rotating parts.
3. The air storage tank and the oil-water separator in the triple component of the gas source on the pulse bag dust collector should be drained once every shift, and the oil-water separator should be cleaned every 3-6 months. The oil mist device should be checked for oil storage regularly and refilled in a timely manner.
4. If the electromagnetic pulse valve malfunctions, it should be promptly eliminated. If there are impurities or moisture inside, it should be cleaned. If the diaphragm is damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
5. When the pulse bag dust collector is working normally, the ash discharge device cannot stop working. Otherwise, the ash hopper will quickly accumulate dust and overflow into the bag chamber, forcing the dust collector to stop working. If smoke and dust are found at the exhaust outlet, it indicates that the filter bag is leaking. During maintenance, stop the air in each room and open the upper cover. If dust is found at the bag opening, it indicates that the filter bag is damaged and needs to be replaced or repaired.
6. If a timed dust cleaning controller is used, the cleaning cycle should be regularly measured for accuracy, otherwise adjustments should be made. When using a fixed resistance pulse controller, the working condition of the pressure switch, whether the pressure tap is blocked, and cleaning should be carried out regularly.
